I was born in Montebelluna, Italy in a small town near Treviso, in the northeast of Italy. My school years and university studies quite distracted me from Art. I attended a secondary school, which mainly privileged science and technology, which soon bored me. Once I finished that, I took up literary studies and graduated in English Language and Literature at Ca' Foscari University in Venice. I have been a teacher at secondary schools since 2006, but Art has always been a subterranean interest throughout my life. This interest in doing and looking at Art exploded three years ago, when I suddenly started drawing and painting intensively and seriously. I started painting and engraving wooden boards with wax pastels, but at the moment I am also using pastels, pens and acrylics on wood and paper.
